Our aim is to raise aspirations of young individuals.
The campaign will be separated into 3 phases.
- Phase 1 ( Role Models Roadshow) - We aim to inspire and educate young people by presenting role models in a one hour question and Answer session in their place of care or learning.
-
Phase 2 (Award Ceremony) - Educational facilities in Merton will be invited to nominate outstanding achievers in a number of categories. A board will then decide on a shortlist, who will be invited with their family to the awards ceremony.
- Phase 3 (Work placements) - Awarded to the winners as part of their recognition with the aim of providing a platform to obtain further knowledge in their chosen field.
We will achieve our aim by inspiring young people through an exchange of information and ideas on our Role Models roadshow, then creating more opportunities for talented and inspiring young individuals to be given more positive press coverage.
By introducing young individuals to role models who they can not only relate to but also aspire to be like, we believe we can raise aspirations and then go on to become successful leaders of tomorrow.
We see the delivery of our sessions as just as important as the support services we provide for young individuals. Part of that support comes in the form of signposting young individuals to services that they feel are relevant to them. We are and our partners are BIG on creating community partnerships which promote positive progression routes for young individuals!
